back in college (which feels like a gazillion years ago), my amigas and i had this bonding moment wherein we'll circle around then they'll get make-up tips from me... so being the make-up enthusiast that i am, i cheerfully give in to their question and happily answers each one (most of the time, the questions leads to an on the spot demo where a happy volunteer becomes my project)... they would ask me what make-up brand have the best quality or how can they protect their skin against breakouts from wearing make-up... my answer to the first is always try different brands and don't stick to one... there are a lot of good make-up brands but do not neccessarily have all the best make-up products... it's interesting to note that the face shop has fairly good make-up products while elianto excels more in their skincare products... maybelline is known to boast a line-up of high-quality make-up at a cheaper cost while mac charges insanely-high but has the richest lipstick colors in the market...
ok, back to our topic... our bonding moment became a habit for me as i've realized that i enjoy being a sorta "guru" to my eager students... then, my job came and i rarely do it anymore (i only get to do so every time trix asks me... :D )... i found that i missed it that's why i came up with this blog so that i can still spread the word even if i'm not with my amigas...
everyone, here is my list of the skincare products i personally recommend:
MAKE-UP REMOVER:
ELIANTO'S GREEN TEA CLEANSING CREAM bags this category... not only is this easy to apply (you just spread evenly on the face and neck (face and neck should be dry) then tissue off... it can remove the heaviest make-up and will leave skin feeling softer than usual... i also love how a pea-sized cream can cover a lot... P300+
FACIAL WASH
i found out in highschool that facial scrub and i were not friends... my face got irritated and my acne multiplied... so i stopped and search for the best facial wash for my skin and tada! i've found my new best friend! ELIANTO'S CUCUMBER FACE FOAM CLEANSER washes away all the dirt that water alone can't and softens the skin that soap tend to dry up... what's better is that this leaves a cooling effect on the skin that you feel reviatlized after washing... P300+
TONER
i admit i was apprehensive at first to use a toner because a friend of mine warned me before that it dries the skin... but being the curious that i am, i tried the DEWY FLOWER TONER BY THE FACE SHOP... it's so mild that it doesn't sting unlike other cleansers that are too harsh for the skin... i also love the fragrance of the toner and its feel on the skin... P400+ per set (toner and moisturizer)
MOISTURIZER (night use)
moisturizers are a MUST for every girl especially those hitting the 20s mark... this will be the best time to start caring for our skin... the earlier we repair, the younger our skin will look as we age... moisturizers are vital weapons to combat skin aging... for this i trust THE FACE SHOP DEWY FLOWER MOISTURIZER to help protect my skin from drying... i use this at night after i apply toner and it leaves my skin supple and smooth the next day... P400+ per set (moisturizer and toner)
MOISTURIZER (day use)
if you must moisturize during the day, use QUICK & CLEAN OIL-FREE MOISTURIZER... this has a non-greasy formula and feels light on the skin... it also makes me feel like touching my skin all the time because of its smoothness... plus, this moisturizer smell so yummy! it has a citrusy scent (a mix of lemon and orange)... P500+
so there you have it! my recommended skincare products that are available in the market... so go try them and start caring for your skin... remember, it is never too early to start treating yourself right and it is never too indulgent to pamper one's skin... ;)
